Welcome To Ilkley Grammar School

Founded in 1607, our comprehensive school has a long and proud tradition of high quality education in the local community. Established as an 11-18 school in 2000 following Bradford's reorganisation, we have around 1500 students on roll, of whom 300 are in Post 16.

In September 2003 we were finally established on one site with the opening of a 35 room teaching block that complements our other extensive facilities including a sports hall, swimming pool and specialist rooms.

Our most recent Ofsted Inspection of 2007 quite rightly concluded, 'Ilkley Grammar School is a good school with some aspects that are outstanding'.
