School Day and Routines

School begins at 8.30am and ends at 3.00pm.  Daily Routine.

The day has five lessons of approximately 1 hour, a morning break of 20 minutes and lunch between 12.00pm and 1.00pm.  We have a self-service dining hall, with additional areas for packed lunches.  Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 are not allowed off the site at lunchtimes. 

Personal Property & Lockers

The school has banks of lockers available for hire.  These are particularly useful for storing personal property and keeping it safe, thus reducing the amount of equipment which would otherwise have to be carried around school.  A £25 fee is levied in September plus a £5 key deposit.  The student will retain a locker for five years.  The school cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen: students are discouraged from bringing mobile phones, large amounts of money or expensive items like iPods.
